This Privacy Policy explains how How Now ("the app", "we", "us"), operated by Aleksei Bogomolov (individual entrepreneur registered in Georgia), handles your information. By using How Now you agree to this policy.
How Now is a mobile app that lets you note how you feel and get short pieces of advice. Contact: toomze@gmail.com.
Account information. When you sign in (Apple, Google, or email + password), we receive a user identifier and, depending on the method and your choices, your name and email address. Authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication (Google). With Sign in with Apple you may choose to hide your email.
Usage and analytics. We use Firebase Analytics (Google) to collect aggregated, mostly anonymous usage data (e.g., screens opened, app version, device type) to understand how the app is used and improve it.
Advice interactions. When you mark an advice card as chosen, we increment an anonymous, aggregate counter ("chosen N times"). This counter is not linked to your identity.
Subscriptions. Purchases of How Now Plus are processed by Apple. We receive your subscription status from Apple; we do not receive or store your payment card details.
We do not collect health or medical records, and we do not sell your data.
These providers process data under their own privacy policies.
You can delete your account at any time in the app: Account → Delete account. This removes your authentication record. You can also stop processing by deleting the app.
How Now is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We rely on Firebase/Apple infrastructure and reasonable measures to protect your data, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Depending on your region (e.g., GDPR/CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your data. Contact us at toomze@gmail.com.
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above and, where appropriate, an in-app notice.
